The Positive Force Gate Closer is made up of a hydraulic door closer and centered hung bottom pivot bearing assembly. This system allows for the gate to be hung with no hinges improving not just the function of the gate but also the elegance. Once the Positive Force Gate Closer is installed there is never any need to weld or make any modifications to the gate. The hydraulic closer and bottom bearing can be replaced to new with just a screwdriver and Allen wrench. The system allows for gates up to 350 pounds to be controlled with 2 independent speeds. The latching valve controls the 0-15 degree and the sweep controls the 15-105 degree speed. These can be adjusted with a smaller screw driver to control how fast or slow each closes. The Closer housing allows you to use ADA Adjustable Spring Tension, Medium Duty and Heavy Duty closers with no welding or painting needed.
